Default How do you re mix after bounce recording to two tracks

Hey everyone quick question which I need help with. First, I have a D1200 recorder. My question is this: After I have recorded all my tracks, bounced them down to two tracks, and recorded to CD I have not figured out how to go back and re-mix the tracks. In other words, I cannot go back and change the mix on the 1-2 channels since they have the bounced tracks on them. I want to create a bunch of mixes but do not know how once I have bounced them down. Hope my question makes since. Any help would be appreciated.

First-Welcome!!
Here's the trick-don't bounce down to 1-2 "a".
When you go to Record mode/Bounce-there is a parameter there RecVirtualTrack which is normaly set to Current. Turn it to "h". Then bounce.
This has the beauty of not overwriting whatever is on 1+2 a. it records to the h virtual.
When you go to burn your CD-select "h" as the current virtual on the input screen.

Then you can go back and remix, once you have reset the input tracks to "a" . next time and so on you can repeat the process but set RecVirtualTrack to G and so on.-never losing a mix.

Slowing down are we, Billy?
Well you're still amazing my friend.

And welcome to "Fiver" - gotta love that moniker.

Billy,

thanks a bunch. I thought I had tried your suggestion before, but I probably did something wrong. I will try this again. One more question, what is the best way to fatten up guitars? Our style of music is in the southern rock style. I want to add some effect but nothing too overbearing, just not sure which one and how to set it. Thanks again for all your help.
