I unfortunately lost my manual and wanted to see if anyone could help me with improving the sound quality of bounced tracks. I'm trying to condense my 4 tracks to one using my stereo. When doing so I always get some sort of feedback while the levels remain very low. Once I condense them and review the single track it creates, the levels are extremely low and I lose much of the clarity. I guess I'm basically asking how do I condense the 4 tracks into one clear track?

I don't have a CR4, but in all recorders, the final, overall result of what the bounce will be is controlled by the master fader. So-once you have the "mix" of your 4 tracks to your liking, play it back while watching the master meter. Raise the master fader until that is meter high, without clipping. Going from 4 to 1 will also sacrifice width etc, which can muddy up sound. Maybe bouncing 4 to 2 would be better.
