Thread: Mixcraft anyone?

    Default Mixcraft anyone?

I've had Acoustica's Mixcraft software (V.5) for a while and started messing around with it tonight, after finally getting my Behringer UC202 soundcard updated with an Asio driver, and this program rocks! Any other Mixcraft users here?

I bought a license for Mixcraft years ago when I was first auditioning DAWS. I haven't used it much at all over the years as I've become very comfortable with Sonar X3 Producer and prefer it as my main DAW. Occasionally I use Reaper, but from what I remember Mixcraft was pretty good too.

Yes! I recently upgraded to MixCraft 7 Pro Studio. I haven't spent a lot of time with it yet but what I am seeing so far is very, very impressive. Acoustica has taken this DAW to entirely new levels since MixCraft 5. People can bash it all they like but it can definitely without question compete with the major name DAWS now and in some areas far exceed them. The virtual instruments and FX are absolutely wonderful and they sound fantastic. Especially Pianissimo virtual grand piano. Sweet! Hard to believe everything that's included for the price. The upgrade price even more so... This isn't just a beginner's DAW anymore. It's finally evolved into an awesome piece of recording software. Kudos to Acoustica!
