Hi, and thank you Tommy for your comments

Oh, man, dial up, i remember that......that can be so frustrating, esp if you want to download all mixes.....waiting, waiting....

    Anyway,

I know and understand more and more whats wrong with my mix and i would not have known it if i did not participate or got only good or nice critiques.

As for not using master and final effects, i can also see the benefits of that for me.

To me, that really was a learning experience and still is, because i started to mix all of my songs again from scratch, taking more time, start with eq only and not applying anything else untill i think the eq mix is ok.
To me thats kind of a new approach and i like it a lot. I think i can get better results working like that and keeping the comments in mind.

So this Mix-Off pays off to me already a lot!.

    Personal note on the mix-off:
Next time i will put a lot more time in the mixing.

(My weak excuse here; in the 3 weeks we had for this mix-off, i also bought a new Telecaster and applied for and got a new job, which both ate a lot of my time i should have used for the mixing of CBE.)

I know it takes a lot of time to work on and listen to a mix to get a good result. So next time... i wont apply for a job and wont buy a new guitar :-)

    Thanks again, Tommy
